Rumored Release of Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones and Earbuds
According to leaked information from MySmartPrice, Bose is said to be getting ready to release a new range of headphones and earbuds. The upcoming QuietComfort Ultra earbuds are expected to follow in the footsteps of the highly acclaimed QuietComfort Earbuds II. Additionally, the QuietComfort Ultra headphones appear to be a higher-end version of Bose’s QuietComfort 45 headphones.
One of the highlights of Bose products, and especially the QuietComfort II headphones, is active noise reduction. The company’s ANC technology is second to none, and these new products deliver on that. Both new products feature fully integrated ANC technology, so you can safely ignore the person next to you on your next flight.
In addition to ANC, the QuietComfort Ultra in-ear headphones have several soft ear tips with a similar design to their predecessors. Available in black or white, they should have a built-in microphone, touch controls, Bluetooth v5.3 support, IPX4 water resistance, and more. Bose hasn’t officially announced these yet, so some of the specs are under wraps.
The Bose QuietComfort Ultra headphones are also available in black or white and feature physical buttons for volume control and music control, just like other products in the QuietComfort line. It also has a USB-C port for both charging and wired connections, and the stylish design is reminiscent of the beloved Bose 700 series of headphones.
Keep in mind that these are leaks from a reputable third party, so Bose hasn’t announced pricing or availability. However, a recent report from Dealabs suggests that the QuietComfort Ultra headphones will cost around $380 and the QuietComfort Ultra headphones will cost $550. As for availability, Bose usually releases new product lines in September, so look for a release then.
