Apple Expected To Unveil Mac Studio At WWDC 2023 On June 5

Apple, the tech giant headquartered in Cupertino, is preparing to hold its Annual Worldwide Developers Conference on June 5th. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has revealed that Apple may unveil its updated Mac Studio model on Monday, prior to the official announcement.

On the microblogging platform Twitter Gurman explained that the new Mac in question is codenamed “J475”. The current “Mac Studio” is codenamed “J375”, indicating that the new machine is indeed the next generation of the “Mac Studio”.

Earlier this week, Gurman reported that Apple is testing two desktop computers with the M2 Max and ‌M2‌ Ultra” chipsets. The ‌M2‌ Max was released in January with the launch of the latest 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro models, but the M2‌Ultra chip is new and will to follow the M1 Ultra chip that Apple uses in ‌Mac Studio‌,” MacRumors reports.

According to Gorman, the MacM2‌ Max Mac in the test included eight high-performance cores, four efficiency cores, a 30-core GPU and 96GB of RAM. This is the same chip found in the M2‌ Max version of the 16-inch MacBook Pro.

The ‌M2‌ Ultra Mac appears to have 16 high-performance cores, 8 efficiency cores, and a 60-core GPU, although previous reports indicated that the ‌M2‌ Ultra could have up to 76 GPU cores. The different configurations have 64 GB, 128 GB and 192 GB of memory.

According to the report, Apple is believed to be testing these new Macs just days before the WWDC keynote, and Gorman said he plans to show off several Macs at the event, including an all-new 15-inch MacBook Air model.

The Apple AR / VR headset is available in six colors. The report claimed that Apple’s headphones will be available in black, blue, gray, green, pink and a sixth color. They also claimed that the phone will have at least two storage options including 128GB and 256GB.
