Apple Set To Release Two Upcoming iPad Air Variants
Cupertino-based technology giant Apple is said to be working on two new iPad Air 6 versions. According to a report by 9to5Mac, the company has four separate models in the works – two for mobile and one for Wi-Fi.
Apple is making two versions of the iPad Pro since it comes in two sizes, and according to a 9to5Mac report, the company could release a larger version of the iPad Air alongside the current 10.9-inch version or debut a more expensive model. with better features
According to the report, the iPad lineup already has two sizes iPad Pro, the affordable iPad, and iPad mini, the larger or higher iPad Air, may not make much sense. However, the report also stated that Apple’s plans may change and that another iPad Air model may not appear.
Earlier, many reports claimed that the brand is working on a seventh-generation iPad mini and an 11th-generation budget iPad, and no major changes are expected in either tablet.
According to 9to5Mac sources, the iPad mini 7 is coming soon, but all new iPads will be announced between WWDC 2024 in June, which is a big window. More recently, Ming-Chi Kuo said in September that Apple is unlikely to introduce new iPads in 2023 and that the iPad mini and iPad Air models will arrive in 2024 instead.
Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman also said in September that Apple is working on a new iPad Air and that it could be “coming soon.” MacRumors said it’s still unclear whether a new iPad will arrive by the end of the year.
Apple hasn’t updated the iPad Air since March 2022, so it’s been over a year since the last update. As for the iPad mini, it hasn’t been updated since September 2021, even though it’s not a tablet that Apple updates regularly, MacRumors said.
