Apple introduced its new iPhone 15 series with a USB-C port, replacing the Lightning port for the first time. The iPhone 15’s USB-C port offers several benefits, including charging options. It is now possible to use iPhone 15 to charge AirPods or Apple Watch directly.

All you need is a suitable cable, such as a USB-C to USB-C cable for the new AirPods Pro 2 USB-C charging case or a USB-C Apple Watch charging pad. Apple introduced this new feature at the launch of the iPhone 15 Pro.

According to MacRumors, USB-C offers added convenience, allowing you to use a single charging cable for your Mac, iPad, iPhone, and many other USB-C accessories.

On iPhone 15 Pro models, USB-C also offers faster USB 3 transfer speeds of up to 10 Gb/s, up to 10 Gb/s as long as you use the appropriate cable. In contrast, the ‌iPhone 15‌ models only have USB 2 charging speeds, which are the same as the Lightning port charging speeds.

In India, the price of the iPhone 15 series starts at Rs 79,900 in the country, while the iPhone 15 Pro starts at Rs 1,34,900 for buyers this year. The company will also make the new iPhone 15 models available from September 22.

The Apple iPhone 15 is available in three storage variants: 128GB priced at Rs 79,900 and 256GB in blue, pink, yellow, green and black color options. The iPhone 15 Plus also comes in three storage options: 128GB for Rs 89,900, 256GB for Rs 99,900 and 512GB for Rs 1,19,900. Like the regular iPhone 15, it’s available in blue, pink, yellow, green and black.

On the other hand, the iPhone 15 Pro offers four storage configurations. Finally, the iPhone 15 Pro Max comes in three storage options: 256GB for Rs 1,59,900, 512GB for Rs 1,79,900 and the top-of-the-line 1TB variant for Rs 1,99,900. Like the iPhone 15 Pro, the iPhone 15 Pro Max is also available this year in natural titanium, blue titanium, white titanium and black titanium.
