Apple iPhone 15 Series May Launch in Product Red Colour in 2021: Details Here
After announcing the latest iPhone 15 series smartphones earlier this month in new colors, Cupertino-based tech giant Apple is considering bringing the iPhone 15 models to the traditional Product Red color next year.
According to MacRumors, although the iPhone 15 models are available in several colors, there is currently no (PRODUCT)RED option for the devices. However, there is a good chance that the color will reappear early next year.
The company has released at least one new iPhone in (PRODUCT)RED color every year since 2017, so it seems likely that the color could be introduced in the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus in March-April 2024 in order to increase sales of the devices in the middle of their product cycle.
That’s exactly what happened to the iPhone 7 and iPhone 8 series, both of which received the (PRODUCT)RED option about six to seven months after their initial release, according to the report.
It is unclear whether the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will also be available in (PRODUCT)RED early next year. Earlier this year, 9to5Mac reported that Apple was testing a dark red color option for iPhone 15 Pro models, but leaker @URedditor disputed that claim.
Previous mid-stage color additions have included yellow for the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus in March 2023, green for all iPhone 13 models in March 2022, and purple for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini in April 2021.
In related news, the iPhone SE 4 isn’t likely to be released until 2025 according to reports, but Apple could make big changes to its next SE model in the market. We’ve been hearing stories about a new-look iPhone SE for a few years now, but it could finally become a reality with the iPhone SE 4 in 2025.
As MacRumors highlighted in its report, the new iPhone SE 4 could borrow its design from the iPhone 14 series, making it taller and more modern than all the iPhone SE models launched so far.
