Apple’s October 30 Event: Time, Where To Stream, and What To Look Out For
Apple isn’t ready for its launch event for 2023, and the next one will be about Macs and probably the new M3 chipset. We saw the launch of the new iPhone 15 series in September and it is likely that the company will end the year with new Macs on the market. Apple has confirmed the Scary Fast event will take place this week with very un-Apple-like timing, meaning people around the world will see the live event at different times, some even the next day.
Timings and viewing locations for Apple Scary Fast events
The Apple Scary Fast event is a virtual event that will be broadcast live on the Apple Events page starting at 5:00 PM PT, which is 5:30 AM on October 31st for those watching the event in India. You can also tune in to Apple’s YouTube page for all the updates from the live event. Apple also has a reminder feature for people on social channels so you can get pings from the company on the day of the event.
Apple Scary Fast event: what to expect
Apple is rumored to be bringing new Mac computers to the event, which seems to have been confirmed by a product teaser on the company’s page. The teaser shows us a Finder icon, which more or less confirms that this is a Mac-centric event.
That being said, Apple likely has a new iMac model that is overdue for an update, and the new version could be powered by the new M3 silicon. Apple has shown that it has already leapfrogged the competition with its M2 chips, and now it wants to take another leap in technology.
According to reports, Apple could announce the full M3 chip lineup, which should include M3 Pro and M3 Max versions. We’re not sure if the MacBooks will also get a taste of the new chips, but it’s likely that Apple has at least one or maybe two MacBook updates happening.
We don’t expect to see new iPads or even new MacBook Pro models at the event. All of these will probably be presented at an event organized at the beginning of next year.
