Launched in March 2023 and based on Microsoft’s Azure OpenAI service, Maharaja has managed to manage more than half a million queries in four languages. Dealing with varioustopics such as flight status, luggage and lounge access, it responds to queries immediately with 80 percent. Maharaja also arranges seamless exchanges for contact center agents in 15 percent of queries requiring additional assistance.
Tom Cruise Deepfake attacks the IOC
According to a Politico report, the International Olympic Committee is under attack from deepfakes and videos created by artificial intelligence. Among them, one video shows Hollywood actor Tom Cruise, who can be seen saying that “corrupt officials” are “slowly and painfully destroying Olympic sports that have existed for thousands of years.”
The IOC called it an “organized disinformation campaign” and pointed to fake news, including a video that proposed banning Israeli and Palestinian athletes from the Paris Olympics in 2024. This came after the IOC suspended Russia’s National Olympic Committee and decided to allow Russian and Belarusian athletes to compete under a neutral flag in 2024.
