Apple Vision Pro to be Released in the US on February 2

Apple has officially revealed that its Vision Pro mixed reality headset will be available for purchase on February 2nd in the US after months of speculation. Pre-orders begin on January 19th at 5:00 AM PST – available through Apple’s online store and official Apple Stores. The headset is priced at $3,499 (roughly Rs. 2.9 lakh) and comes with 256GB of storage.

First announced at WWDC 2023, Vision Pro will initially be available in the US and later in other countries.

What’s in the Package?

Apple has announced that the Vision Pro box includes the headphones themselves, the Solo Knit Band, the Dual Loop Band, Light Seal, two Light Seal pads, a cover for the front of the device, a polishing cloth, and USB-C. power supply and cable.

Apple has also confirmed a long-standing rumor that the Vision Pro does indeed include ZEISS optical inserts for those who need prescription lenses or just for reading. These inner parts attach magnetically to the Vision Pro headset. They are available for $149 and $99.

What is Apple Vision Pro?

The headset is the company’s first new product line in years, since the Apple Watch launched in 2015. The iPhone maker claims it’s a “space computer” designed to bridge the digital and physical worlds, while staying present and aware. from their environment.

Vision Pro headphones have two micro-OLED screens with a combined resolution of 23 million pixels. The headphones are powered by the M2 chipset, Apple’s second-generation internal chip. Apple has also added a new R1 chip to improve immersion and make virtual objects more realistic. The headphones run on visionOS, the iPhone manufacturer’s new three-dimensional operating system, specially designed for the new product line.
