Employees can get some pretty sweet deals on the devices, but what if we told you that Apple is offering the Vision Pro Blending Headset at least 25% off the $3,499 retail price to its employees? That’s right, Apple employees can purchase the headphones for around $2,600, which is a huge discount, especially considering the product just went up for pre-order.
Bloomberg confirmed the news, and employees were informed in a memo. Employees can also use a $500 credit rebate they receive when they buy Macs every three years from Apple. In addition, Apple is considering compensating employees who need ZEISS Prescription lenses to use the new headphones.
All in all, this is a pretty sweet perk of working at Apple. Plus, now that I think about it, you could find someone who works at Apple, and if they like it, you could ask them to buy you the Vision Pro headset — saving you nearly $1,000, which you can then use to buy accessories like a $199 carrying case for the device.
Pre-orders for the Apple Vision Pro have begun, and it’s available in three configurations: a 256GB model for $3,499, a 512GB model for $3,699, and a 1TB model for $3,899. The device itself will be available on February 2nd, but possibly due to high demand and limited inventory, many people’s shipping dates have been moved to March, which may be a long wait for many.
