iPhone 15 Pro to Soon Welcome Former PlayStation Exclusive Game

If you own an Apple iPhone 15 Pro model and have been wanting to experience Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding: Director’s Cut, which was originally exclusive to the PlayStation platform, you’re in luck. Macs and iPads with Apple’s M-series silicon, as well as the new iPhone 15 Pro models with the A17 Pro chipset, will be able to run the game once it’s released later this month.

The game is currently available for pre-order on the Apple App Store for Rs 1,999 in India and $19.99 in the US. It will be available to play from January 31 of this month. With one purchase, you can play on multiple devices, such as iPad, Mac or iPhone.

The Death Stranding Director’s Cut has been on the iPhone 15 Pro for a long time, and was first announced at Apple WWDC 2023 as an incentive to explore and harness the power of Apple’s M-series silicon.

The game itself is set in a post-apocalyptic world populated by BTs, and the world must rely on a “porter” like the protagonist Sam Bridges to get essentials like medicine and more. The game world is connected and you can see many structures that other players have built.

Although some may call it a walking simulator, the game is steeped in history, has memorable characters, gameplay that makes you think outside the box, and a story that becomes quite memorable and thought provoking once you learn things.

The game is also cross-platform compatible, meaning the same user can share save data and play between iPhone, iPad and Mac. In addition, it also features a photo mode and collaborative content with Valve’s Half-Life and CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077.
