Free AI Course from IIT Madras and NCVET Now Available – Here’s How to Sign Up
In an attempt to incorporate artificial intelligence into India 2.0, the government has partnered with Skill India and edtech company GUVI to introduce a complimentary online AI course. The primary objective of this course is to emphasize various concepts related to artificial intelligence. On World Youth Skills Day, Dharmendra Pradhan, the Union Minister of Education and Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, announced that students who enroll in this AI training program will receive certification from IIT Madras and the National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET).
About the new artificial intelligence course
Students can access a free course on the GUVI platform and register to begin their learning. The course is available in nine different languages, which makes it easier to study in the language of your choice. Before the course starts, it contains basic questions about your knowledge of artificial intelligence, Java, cyber security and coding.
GUVI’s website mentioned: “If you’ve never programmed before, you already know the basic syntax, or you want to learn about the advanced features of Python, this course is for you! This course also gives you an overview of artificial intelligence and its complementary Python. Start learning industry best practices for Python programming and AI skills that real employers demand.
According to Dharmendra Pradhan, this phase aims to make learning easy by providing a multilingual option. It also focuses on empowering our Yuva Shakti with technology which makes their future bright. He emphasized the critical nature of overcoming language barriers in technology education and noted that this program is an important step in preparing the country’s youth, especially those in rural areas, to succeed in the future.
