Apple iPhone 15 Release Date Rumored To Be September 12: Here’s What We Know
Cupertino-based tech giant Apple is said to be releasing its upcoming iPhone 15 lineup next month, including the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max. According to the latest report from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the Apple iPhone 15 launch event is likely to take place on Tuesday (September 12).
In addition to the iPhone 15 collection, the updated Apple Watch Series 9, Apple Watch Ultra 2 models, iOS 17 and much more are expected at the September event.
In a post shared on social media platform X, Gurman said that “signs are increasingly pointing to September 12 as the iPhone 15 launch date.” “The September 12th event is being prepared as an in-person release. So recorded video + people watching at. Apple campus + hands-on afterwards. Same as iPhone 14,” Gurman added.
Previously, Gurman had suggested September 12 or 13 as two possible dates, but it now appears that Tuesday is the more likely candidate.
Apple’s iPhone events usually take place during the first two weeks of September and often take place on a Tuesday. MacRumors said an early September launch will give Apple a chance to boost iPhone sales before the end of the fiscal year.
According to reports, if the iPhone 15 models are announced on September 12th and Apple sticks to its usual debut time, pre-orders will take place on Friday September 15th and the launch will take place on Friday September 22nd. This year, the Apple iPhone 15 Pro models may have a higher price tag compared to the current models.
The regular iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will cost $799 and $899, respectively, as before. The iPhone 15 Pro is expected to cost up to $1,099 (up from $999), and the larger iPhone 15 Pro Max could cost up to $1,299 (up from $1,099).
