Apple Could Become Number One Smartphone Brand After Release of iPhone 15 Series
Apple may sell more iPhones than brands like Samsung by next year, making the Cupertino-based giant likely to be the top dog in the global smartphone segment.
And all of this is made possible by the success of the iPhone 15 series, which will launch next month. Industry analysts are quietly bullish on the new iPhones, especially the Pro Max version, which is expected to feature a periscope lens for the first time in Apple’s history.
Sales of the iPhone 15 series are predicted to help Apple overtake Samsung as the most popular smartphone brand, and this is reflected in an industry report due in 2024, when analysts have assumed most of the sales.
As Ming-Chi Kuo mentioned, Samsung’s sales over the past year have fallen 10 percent, and the South Korean brand is likely to sell around 220 million phones in the next 12 months.
Apple is expected to grow by 10 percent and sell a total of 250 million units during the same period. Kuo says the rumored design changes and camera upgrades could help the company garner more interest, not only for the Pro versions, but also for the vanilla and Plus models of the iPhone 15 series.
Going to the top of the market always helps Apple please its shareholders when the stock prices jump into the green. It’s hardly surprising that everyone is eagerly anticipating the new iPhone lineup, and we’re probably just a few weeks away from our first look at the iPhone 15 lineup.
New iPhones could get a Dynamic Island notch on all models this year, while the Pro version gets a new A17 chip and updated cameras under the hood. Some reports have suggested that Apple could rebrand the iPhone 15 Pro Max as the Ultra this year, but we’re not too sure if that will happen this year.
