Apple Pencil 2 Rumored To Feature Interchangeable Tips and USB-C Connectivity
Apple has released the new iPhone 15 series with a USB-C port, which now joins other products on the market, such as the iPad Air and MacBooks. Even the AirPods Pro have been updated with the new charging standard, and the Apple Pencil could be next in line. The third-generation Apple Pencil is expected to include new features and USB-C charging, as well as magnetic wireless charging that you get from the device when it’s connected to an iPad.
And bringing USB-C charging support to the Pencil makes it useful for people because they don’t have to look for another charger when needed. In addition to this, reports suggest that Apple could finally offer different tips that can be attached to the Apple Pencil for different use cases.
The pencil is mainly used by creative people, so bringing tips on how to draw or even paint on the iPad would make sense and encourage more people to consider buying the original Apple Pencil. For now, the tips of the Apple Pencil are screwed on, but a future version may have a new magnetic end to make it easier to change tips.
There are question marks on how to store the extra tips and ideally for a Rs 10,000 device the company should at least provide a case to keep the tips safe. The advice of the rumored Apple Pencil is not sure about its release timeline, but according to reports of new iPad Pros launching early next year, Apple could pencil this device for the same release event as well.
The new changes should also help raise the price of another Apple product and entice more people to invest in Apple’s Pads.
