Beyond Go the biggest Pokemon Go update yet
Pokemon Go is getting its biggest update since the app launched almost four years ago. Pokemon Go is redesigning its leveling system, adding the Kalos region, a new 12-day friendship event and more. The new Go Beyond update will start rolling out from November 30th.
Niantic is re-leveling in Pokemon Go, and level 40 players will have the option to upgrade to level 50. Here you’ll find a whole list of challenges to complete in order to get to level 50. Pokemon Go players will now win more XP by catching Pok mon, evolving Pok mon, hatching eggs, registering new Pokedex entries, and more. Some players can even earn double the EXP than they are currently getting. This should help boost Pokemon Go player levels starting November 30. As for those who reach level 40 before December 31, 2020, they will earn the title of Legacy 40 Trainer and also get exclusive rewards.
Pokemon Go: Seasons will be a new way of experiencing the real-world seasons in the game. Every three months a new season will take over from Pokemon Go with more Pokemon in the wild, season-related Pokemon, events in-game and more. The new seasons will also bring updates to Mega-Evolved Pokemon. It also brings changes to Go Battle League which will increase from 10 to 24 ranks, a new structure of rewards, etc.
Pok mon originally discovered in the Kalos region will now be visible from December 2. You can expect to see Pok mon such as Chepsin, Fennekin, Froakie, Fletchling, and their evolutions. The highly anticipated Greninja and Talonflame! Pyroar will also be up for grabs. You can find the full list of new Pok mon here.
Pokemon Go also begins its 12 Days of Friendship with a series of bonuses available today. There will be other events like Community Day in December and holiday events next month.
