Bigger and Better: Apple’s iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max Upgrades!

Cupertino-based technology giant Apple is said to be planning to introduce larger screens to its professional models next year. According to a recent report, the upcoming iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max could have a 6.27-inch screen, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max could have a larger 6.86-inch screen.

According to MacRumors, Apple will increase the size of the Pro series iPhones next year. The standard iPhone 16 and 16 Plus models have a 60 Hz display, similar to the iPhone 15. Meanwhile, the Pro versions are likely to offer a higher refresh rate with a 120Hz display.

The current iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro have 6.1-inch OLED displays, while the iPhone 15 Plus and iPhone 15 Pro Max have larger 6.7-inch OLED displays.

In addition, the iPhone 15 Pro models released in September introduced a new Action Button, which replaces the iconic mute switch. This button allows users to perform various actions.

Interestingly, Apple limited this feature to the iPhone 15 Pro models and excluded it from the regular iPhone 15 models. While this isn’t really a mandatory feature, another report from MacRumors suggested that the entire iPhone 16 lineup could come with an Action Button in 2024.

According to the report, Apple is also planning a design change to the regular iPhone 16 models, potentially returning to the vertical camera layout seen on the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini.

According to the report, the ‌iPhone 16‌ Pro Max may be the first to feature a super teleperiscope camera that offers significantly better optical zoom. Both iPhone 16 Pro models are expected to feature 5x optical zoom, which is currently exclusive to the iPhone 15 Pro Max.

In addition, iOS 18 is expected to bring new Siri features that work on major language models, while the artificial intelligence features on the device may remain exclusive to the iPhone 16 models.

According to the report, the ‌iPhone 16‌ and ‌iPhone 16‌ Plus are likely to include the A17 chip, but it is rumored to be a different version than the A17 Pro chip used in the iPhone 15 Pro‌ and ‌iPhone 15 Pro‌ Max models.
