Check Out the Trailer for Apple TV+ Series ‘Foundation’ Season 2
After a sneak peek and teaser, Apple TV+ has released the official trailer for season two of Foundation, which takes place 100 years after the end of season one. Based on Isaac Asimov’s book series, the show will introduce a new crisis: war with the Empire. The season will also follow the unraveling of the Cleons, a vengeful Queen plotting to destroy the Empire and the Foundation in its religious phase. Dr. Gaal Dornick warns that the upcoming events will bring “Despair, death, destruction. This is even bigger than the last crisis.” The fate of humanity hangs in the balance.
The ten new episodes come nearly two years after the first season premiered and will retain some of the original cast, including Lee Pace and Jared Harris. Its new season debuts on Friday, July 14 on Apple TV+, with new episodes airing weekly. In the meantime, enjoy the official trailer and take comfort in knowing that season three is already underway.
