What’s Coming Your Way: A Bright YouTube Button
Becoming successful on YouTube has become increasingly challenging. In the past, individuals with unique content and regular uploads could easily gain subscribers and become popular YouTubers. However, the platform has become more saturated, requiring more effort to achieve the same level of success. Recognizing this, YouTube has been striving to enhance its creator ecosystem, allowing new accounts to gain more subscribers and grow naturally. As part of these efforts, the video-sharing giant is currently experimenting with an interesting feature that causes the Subscribe button to glow whenever creators prompt viewers to subscribe.
YouTube is testing the automatic feature
When the creator mentions the word subscribe, the border of the white subscribe button glows red, giving the viewer a subtle hint of the button’s location. At this point, the viewer can order.
This feature can be useful for viewers who probably want to subscribe but aren’t aware of it, and can have a particularly big impact on small content creators who get a lot of views but not enough subscribers.
YouTube is also testing another cool feature called Playables, which allows users to play games within the platform. Google is testing this feature with a select group. These games have their own section on YouTube’s main page and can be played on both computers and phones. It is not yet known if these games will be released to a larger audience.
