Elon Musk Could Introduce Game Streaming and Live Shopping to X Platform
Billionaire Elon Musk plans to bring video game streaming and live shopping features to microblogging platform X (formerly Twitter).
In a video posted on Monday, Musk shared his successful test of the X video game streaming system and expressed his intention to tackle the Tier 100 Nightmare Dungeon live on the platform later that evening.
“I tested the X video game streaming system last night. It works! I’m trying to run Tier 100 Nightmare Dungeon tonight live on this platform,” the Tesla CEO wrote on social media. Musk also streamed his Nightmare Dungeon game in a nearly 40-minute video. “Testing video game streaming X: with,” he wrote.

In related news, CEO Linda Yaccarino recently revealed that the company has paid out nearly $20 million (over Rs 166 crore) to content creators so far. The social media platform began paying creators in July a share of the ad revenue they earned from ads shown in replies to their posts to other verified users.
“Create. Connect. Collect everything from X. We’re enabling financial success for new segments like content creators. And to date, we’ve paid out nearly $20 million to our creator community,” Yaccarino wrote for X.
The first payment in July was about $5 million, according to X owner Elon Musk. Creators are now encouraged to get users to reply to their tweets. X started paying content creators, including those in India, their share of ad revenue under a recently launched “ad revenue sharing program” for content creators.
Several content creators around the world have shared how much money they got from the microblogging platform through its new program.
In order to share content creators’ ads, you must be an X Premium or Verified Organizations subscriber, have at least 5 million cumulative organic impressions on your posts in the last three months, and have at least 500 followers.
