The Google Pixel 8 smartphone is likely to have a video blur tool: what it means
After launching the popular ‘Photo Unblur’ feature for its latest Pixel 7 series smartphones, US tech giant Google is now working on a new ‘Video Unblur’ tool for its upcoming Pixel 8 smartphone.
According to a new report by 9To5Google, the Video Unblur tool makes users’ videos sharp and clear. Using machine learning, this tool is expected to give previously recorded videos a sharper look.
Google Photos’ Photo Unblur tool, which uses the machine learning capabilities of the Tensor chip to sharpen photos, was introduced with the launch of the Pixel 7 series. This works whether you took the photos recently with a Pixel phone or decades ago with an old-school camera, according to the report.
According to the report, the tool has not yet been fully developed. When it’s up and running, you can expect Video Unblur to give previously captured videos a sharper look using machine learning. Video Unblur may also be exclusive to the Pixel series,
Both Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro smartphones are expected to arrive in late 2023. The upcoming Pixel 8 smartphone lineup was previously rumored to feature an updated Samsung camera sensor, the ISOCELL GN2, with high dynamic range (HDR) functionality. better dynamic range in photos and videos.
The Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro are expected to pack 12GB of RAM. Additionally, the Pro model is likely to offer a screen resolution of 2822 x 1344 pixels, while the Pixel 8 is expected to offer a standard 2268 x 1080 resolution.
