Google has recently made an exciting announcement for Google Pixel users in India and other countries, as they have now introduced the crash detection feature. However, Google’s Car Crash Detection feature was only available in a limited number of regions. Fortunately, Google has now expanded its availability to more regions. To find out more about the Google Pixel Crash Detection feature and the list of newly added countries, continue reading.
What is the car crash detection feature?
The Pixel’s Car Crash Detection features use built-in sensors to detect when the user has been involved in a car accident. Using location data, motion sensors and microphones, this feature investigates the odds of a crash and analyzes the situation by waiting 60 seconds for the user to respond, and if they don’t respond, it automatically sends a message to emergency services. The feature can save a lot of lives and be very useful.
This feature is one of the most requested features in emergency situations, but it comes with location and language restrictions. Now, a fresh update says that it will be available in more countries.
