Jio unveils initiative to create AI models tailored to India
Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) Chairman Mukesh Ambani revealed at the company’s annual general meeting on Monday that they are planning to develop AI models and solutions tailored specifically for various sectors in order to stay updated with the latest advancements in this rapidly expanding technology.
Speaking at the 46th RIL AGM, Mukesh Ambani emphasized that Jio India’s AI solutions will prove beneficial to Indian citizens, businesses and the government.
“India has the scale. India has the data. India has the talent. But we also need an AI-enabled digital infrastructure that can handle the massive computing demands of AI. We are committed to creating up to 2,000 MW of AI-ready computing capacity,” said Ambani.
To develop India-tailored AI products and solutions, Jio Platforms is increasing the talent pool and innovation capability in this rapidly evolving industry.
“Seven years ago, Jio promised broadband for everyone, everywhere. We have delivered. Today, Jio promises AI for everyone, everywhere. And we are delivering,” Ambani added.
