John Warnock, Co-founder of Adobe, Dies at Age 82
Photoshop maker Adobe co-founder John Warnock died Saturday at the age of 82, the company said early Sunday.
The cause of his death was not released.
“This is a sad day for the Adobe community and the industry he has inspired for decades,” Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen said in an email to employees.
Warnock founded Adobe in 1982 with Charles Geschke. He retired as CEO in 2000 and was chairman of the board, which he shared with Geschke until 2017.
