Leaked Image of Upcoming MacBook Pro Revealed Before Official Release Date
Good news for Apple fans, the Cupertino-based tech giant has officially confirmed that it will be hosting its ‘Scary Fast’ event on October 30th. During this event, Apple will release its new generation of MacBook and iMac computers, featuring the all-new M3. serial chip.
Now, a new report from MacRumors claimed that just hours after the release date of the upcoming Macs was announced, an image of a new unreleased MacBook Pro retail box has surfaced on Chinese social media platform Weibo.
The image, which was re-shared on X by a leaker named Shrimp Apple Pro, shows Apple’s packaging showing an image of a MacBook Pro with a previously unreleased wallpaper on the screen.
This wallpaper resembles the wallpaper used by Apple on the iPhone 15 Pro. The report also mentioned that it is unclear whether the image is legitimate or simply fake.
Meanwhile, Apple has also confirmed that it will host this ‘Scary Fast’ event online, meaning you can watch the launch live. Apple’s October 30 launch event is on Monday at 5:00 PM PT, which is Tuesday, October 31 at 5:30 AM IST for those watching in India.
You can watch the product launch live via the Apple Events website or go to Apple’s YouTube page and get all the updates. According to reports, the US tech giant could introduce a new M3 chip along with new MacBooks and iMacs that use Apple’s new silicon.
Along with the iMac, Apple is also expected to update the 13-inch MacBook Pro and also bring a new version of the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro with the M3 chip. It’s unlikely we’ll see any new iPads at this event, which seems set for an early 2024 release from the company.
