Leaked Images of Samsung Galaxy A15 Reveal What’s in Store
Samsung is currently working on the next addition to its Galaxy A series, the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy A15. After the successful launch of the Galaxy A14 earlier this year, Samsung is preparing to introduce its successor. Although the official release date has not been disclosed, leaked renders have provided a sneak peek into the design of the upcoming device. Tech Outlook has revealed these leaked renders, showcasing a distinct design for the Samsung Galaxy A15. Unlike its predecessor, the Galaxy A15 features three rear cameras, following the current trend of multi-camera setups on smartphones. Additionally, the device stands out visually with its 6.4-inch Infinity-U display, replacing the V-shaped notch seen on the Galaxy A14.
In particular, the sporty flat frames of the Galaxy A15 differ from the rounded edges of the Galaxy A14. This design choice can affect the phone’s ergonomic feel in the hand, which may cause comfort concerns for some users. The intriguing aspect of the design is the protruding right bezel of the Galaxy A15, which hints at a unique aesthetic. Whether this will be a consistent design trend in Samsung’s upcoming smartphones remains to be seen, and only time will tell.
Functionally, the right bezel houses the volume rocker and the power button, which also doubles as a fingerprint sensor. On the left is the SIM card slot, while the bottom edge of the phone houses the USB-C port, flanked by the primary microphone, speaker and 3.5mm headphone jack. There is an additional microphone at the top to improve sound quality.
The dimensions of the Samsung Galaxy A15 are around 160.2 x 76.8 x 8.4 mm (77.4 mm wide when considering the protruding body), which offers a glimpse of its physical dimensions. Aside from design hints, details on the Galaxy A15 are currently scarce. However, as the launch date approaches, we can expect to hear more detailed information about this exciting addition to the Galaxy A series in the coming months.
