Meta AI now provides instant wardrobe suggestions for Meta Quest headset users.

Meta AI is now available on Meta Quest, allowing users to receive personalized wardrobe recommendations through a mixed reality headset. In a recent demonstration, a person wearing a Meta Quest headset asked the AI for advice on which T-shirt color would complement a pair of shorts they were holding up, receiving instant and realistic suggestions.

Meta AI was introduced last year, built on the Meta Llama AI model, and has since been integrated into several product lines, including Meta Ray-Ban smart glasses. Later, Meta released an update that included multimodal Vision support, which allows the smart glasses to provide fashion tips and more in real-time by observing your surroundings. Now Meta has brought the same functionality to its Meta Quest range and thus has expanded the reach of Meta AI.

When wearing the Meta headset, you can ask Meta AI questions about your environment. For example, you can ask Meta AI which color would be best for the walls of your home, or when you look in the mirror, ask for advice on how to improve your current outfit. You can even show it an item of clothing to see if it’s ideal for a particular event – the possibilities are endless.

Meta also emphasizes multitasking, which allows you to ask contextual or irrelevant questions about what you’re doing. When you’re watching a YouTube video about Seoul, for example, you can simultaneously ask Meta AI for recommendations on the best places to visit in the city. This function is now available. Or maybe during your studies, you can quickly ask Meta a question related to the topic to get an answer in real time, which saves effort and time.
