Microsoft Outlook Experiences Second Interruption Within 24 Hours
For the second time within a day, Microsoft Outlook users have faced difficulty in accessing their inbox. Although Microsoft acknowledged the initial outage and provided a comprehensive explanation, it remains unclear how extensive the second outage is and how many individuals are impacted. However, based on the activity on the Downdetector platform, which monitors application outages, there was a noticeable increase around 1:00 PM IST on Tuesday.
Some people even shared the update on Twitter asking if Outlook is down again.
Earlier Monday evening, hundreds of users around the world reported that the Microsoft Corp suite of products, which includes Word, Excel and Outlook, had crashed. “We are investigating an issue with Outlook on the web,” Microsoft wrote on Twitter.
We’re waiting to see if the company shares another update on this latest outage. Thanks to our outage monitoring, Outlook appears to be down for people in most parts of India, but we had access to the platform while writing this story.
