New AI Features Added to Samsung Galaxy Flagship Devices
Samsung has finally rolled out the latest One UI 6.1 update to several of its current flagship devices in India on Thursday. The biggest addition this update brings is the AI tools that the company announced with the Galaxy S24 series earlier this year. Samsung has once again worked with Google and given it the first rights to the Gemini AI model for mobile devices.
And now people using older Galaxy S series phones can try innovative AI features thanks to a new update. Samsung and Google have been working on projects and platforms recently, and after WearOS, this is the latest association between the brands.
The Samsung One UI 6.1 update brings artificial intelligence features to these devices
– Samsung Galaxy S23
– Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus
– Samsung Galaxy 23 Ultra
– Samsung Galaxy 23 FE
– Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 collection
Samsung AI features coming to most Galaxy devices
The company has shared a list of devices that support the company’s new AI features powered by Google’s Gemini AI. But what features can Galaxy phone users access?
Circle to Search – This feature allows users to draw a circle around an image or text displayed in any app that supports screen capture. When the desired part is selected with the S-Pen or your finger, it will automatically take you to the Google results page, which will display the details of the item or text.
Live Translation – Samsung uses artificial intelligence to provide two-way results for real-time translations of your calls.
Note Assist – Helps you take notes on your phone better and more concisely
Generative editing – Edit captured photos and change the size or position of the subject.
Users are advised not to use the Circle To Search feature in banking or other sensitive applications for security reasons. You can also go back to your search history and delete previous mines by tapping the three-dot menu in the upper right corner of the Circle to Search page.
