Nothing Sub-Brand Could Unveil Smartwatch and TWS Earbuds on September 26
CMF By Nothing may launch its budget range of smartwatches, wireless headphones and phone chargers next month. The new Nothing brand will likely focus on the budget market, allowing the company to spread its wings and attract more consumers.
There have been some interesting leaks of CMF by Nothing merchandise this week, hinting at a different approach compared to the original Nothing line-up. The devices will likely have a transparent design, instead CMF by Nothing could focus on bright colors that pop and also bring them to market at an aggressive price. The Nothing sub-brand could have three products at the September 26 launch event, ideally with India as the main focus.
The smartwatch called CMF By Nothing Watch Pro is likely to be priced around Rs 4,500, while the brand’s TWS earphones may fetch Rs 3,500, according to reports. The third product is likely to be a 65W wall charger, according to leaks, which could be priced at Rs 3,000, making it one of the most affordable chargers in the market.
In terms of features, the Watch Pro is expected to get a 1.96-inch AMOLED display with Always-On Display feature with a peak brightness of 600 nits and more than 100 watch faces. It has basic health features like SpO2 display and supports Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. The watch’s 330 mAh battery is expected to last more than 10 days.
As for the TWS earphones, CMF by Nothing claims to have the best noise cancellation in its class, which is interesting to test for its price. It could have 10mm dynamic drivers and three HD microphones for each knob. The case has a 460 mAh battery that supports fast charging.
And finally, the 65W charger has two USB C ports and one USB 3.0 port for charging. It supports fast charging in all devices thanks to power supply technology and Qualcomm QuickCharge up to 4.0. All three products have been leaked in orange, but we expect the brand to have more colors.
