Possible Launch of World’s First 26GB RAM Smartphone Next Month
Next month, the industry is set to witness the arrival of a groundbreaking smartphone equipped with an astonishing 26GB RAM. The brand speculated to introduce this remarkable feature is Infinix, with its upcoming model, the Infinix GT 10 Pro. The sheer magnitude of these numbers leaves us in awe, contemplating the direction in which the industry is heading.
The phone is expected to feature design elements such as a transparent design that might remind you of the Nothing Phone series. Infinix is likely to use the GT brand for its gaming phone line, which explains the interest in the higher RAM battle.
We’ve already seen a 24GB RAM phone launch in the market courtesy of Nubia, but Infinix could take that lead by having a wider release plan for its GT 10 Pro model. And that’s not all, Infinix is also likely to bring this device to support 240W wired charging speed, which is another industry first.
According to reports, the high-end variant of the Infinix GT 10 Pro will get 26GB of RAM and pair it with 512GB of storage. The company is usually known for its value-for-money devices, but lately it’s been stepping out of its comfort zone to launch interesting devices that focus on cutting-edge technology without costing a fortune.
But as we’ve said before, most phones need 12GB of RAM at best to run the apps available, so more than double that amount doesn’t really mean much, especially when it comes to performance. That said, this memory could be paired with the MediaTek Dimensity 8050 chipset, which isn’t exactly a top-of-the-line chip, suggesting that the brand has a slightly different take on its phone and its focus.
The GT 10 Pro is likely to have LED lights on the back, aka Nothing Phones, and it’s possible that the brand could opt for RGB lighting instead of white LEDs. The company sells its phones in India and we can’t rule out the possibility that they will launch the GT 10 Pro where it should be available under Rs 30,000. We’re curious to see if these specs actually work, and if they do, how much the device will cost the buyer.
