Unlock the Future: Get Ready for Apple’s iPhone 16 Series in 2024!
After the successful launch of the iPhone 15 series in 2023, Cupertino-based tech giant Apple has reportedly started working on new iPhone models that are rumored to launch several new features and major updates in September 2024.
According to a report from MacRumors, the upcoming iPhone 16 Pro is expected to have a larger display of around 6.3 inches, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max is expected to feature an even larger display of around 6.9 inches.
According to the report, Apple is considering a change to the design of the standard iPhone 16 models, possibly returning to the vertical camera layout seen on the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini. Apple used the diagonal layout for the iPhone 13 and iPhone 14, and “it’s not entirely clear why Apple would return, but one theory is that it could allow the devices to record spatial video to Apple Vision Pro,” MacRumors said.
Additionally, all iPhone 16 models may feature a new physical Capture Button, but its purpose is currently unknown. The iPhone 16 Pro models are also expected to feature an improved 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera that will enable higher-resolution photos with more detail in 0.5X mode.
According to the report, the iPhone 16 Pro Max may be the first to feature a super teleperiscope camera that offers significantly better optical zoom. Both iPhone 16 Pro models are expected to feature 5x optical zoom, which is currently exclusive to the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
In 2024, standard iPhone 16 models may get an extension Action Button feature, which is only available on iPhone 15 Pro models. The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are likely to feature the A17 chip, but it is rumored to be a different version than the A17 Pro chip used in the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
In addition, iOS 18 is expected to bring new Siri features that work on major language models, while the device’s artificial intelligence features may remain exclusive to iPhone 16 models.
