Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO will launch its latest flagship smartphone iQOO 12 in India on December 12. However, just weeks before the iQOO 12 5G India launch, a new leak has revealed the price of the upcoming device.
Tipster Mukul Sharma recently took to microblogging platform X and revealed the retail package of the iQOO 12 5G. The leaked information suggests that the smartphone will be priced at Rs. 50,999 to Rs 59,999, with a maximum retail price (MRP) of Rs. 56,999.
The iQOO 12 5G is expected to be available in two storage configurations: 12GB RAM + 256GB and 16GB RAM + 512GB. Interested buyers can purchase the iQOO 12 5G through the Amazon platform.
The company has also assured that there will be no pre-installed bloatware and no Android updates for three years. The iQOO 12 5G is available in two color options – white and black with BMW branding.
The iQOO 12 series is the first to feature Qualcomm’s most powerful processor in India. According to available details, the iQOO 12 could feature a 144Hz OLED display with a peak brightness of 3000 nits, one of the best on the market. The phone is offered with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, but in India we expect the brand to offer 12GB and 256GB variants to keep the price competitive.
The phone is rumored to have a 5000mAh battery that supports 120W wired fast charging, but wireless charging may again be missing.
The smartphone was recently launched in China. The Chinese iQOO 12 5G model has a triple rear camera, including a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with 100X digital zoom and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor. For selfies and video chats, it has a 16-megapixel sensor.
