ChromeOS 116 Update Brings Autocorrect, File Search, and More

Improved autocorrection
Google has rolled out an improved version of autocorrect that can default to English in all compatible apps. The feature corrects typos, typos, and errors. As for the auto-correction of virtual keyboards, it improves the accuracy of the auto-correction of physical keyboards.
Search in the Files app
The new ChromeOS update allows users to easily search for files and documents from local and Google Drive content. The blog also mentions that users can also customize their search. Note that all types of files such as audios, documents, images and videos are now easily found.
PDF OCR Chrome(OS) feature
Now Chrome allows users to convert PDF images to text using the Optical Character Recognition (OCR) feature. This is done to improve the screen reading experience. AI users who depend on screen readers can take full advantage of this upcoming feature.
Flexible device installation process
According to Google, the updated device setup wizard in ChromeOS gives new users improved device customization options and installation flexibility, providing a streamlined user experience. RGB keyboard customization
ChromeOS now allows you to customize the colors of RGB keyboards. However, Google mentions that the option to set one backlight color is still available to the user. The feature is already available on Chromebooks like the Ideapad Gaming Chromebook, HP Dragonfly Pro Chromebook, Acer Chromebook 516 GE, and ASUS Chromebook Vibe CX34 Flip.
