Reliance Jio has become a complete provider of technical solutions, which is not limited to consumers only, but also focuses on its network for businesses. The telco’s digital platform is now ready to take the next step and build a new platform for businesses and startups to participate in the digital world.
Jio has announced the Jio True 5G Developer platform, which caters to the needs of local enterprises and small businesses, offering them a healthy comprehensive platform that combines the strength of the Jio 5G network, edge computing and a host of applications.
“Today we are announcing the Jio True5G Developer Platform, a comprehensive platform that combines our 5G networks, edge computing and a wide range of applications and services,” as Akash Ambani, Chairman, Reliance Jio announced at the Reliance AGM 2023.
He talked about the need for enterprises to manage the activation of network components according to their needs, and Jio helps them deploy applications using multi-purpose computing locations and versatile partners. Akash Ambani also mentioned that the integration of 5G network, edge computing and other applications will help Indian companies in a transformative way that no longer needs to rely on multiple tools.
“The Jio True5G Developer Platform enables secure and rapid deployment of 5G Edge computing and low-latency applications, enabling faster autonomous decisions, immersive experiences and real-time Edge AI,” he explained.
All these implementations not only accelerate the innovation of companies, but also help them operate at lower costs. “And through the Jio True5G marketplace, our partners can integrate their offerings and develop customized solutions that meet specific needs,” he adds.
Apart from sharing information about the Jio True 5G Developer Platform, Akash Ambani also announced the Jio True5G Lab, a facility from Reliance Corporate Park. This unit helps the phone company develop new 5G solutions with the help of its industry partners, who can later also test and deploy applications. The new 5G Lab will serve as the nerve center for India’s 5G future.
