Unlock the Power of Grok AI: Discover its Humorous Capabilities!
Elon Musk has unveiled Grok, an innovative AI model that adds a touch of humor when responding to prompts. Grok is seamlessly integrated with the X platform and is not recommended for those who do not appreciate humor, according to xAI. By utilizing real-time information from the X platform, Grok is equipped to handle even the most challenging queries. Despite being in the beta stage, this AI model has undergone two months of training and aims to continuously improve and broaden its abilities in the future.
Purpose of Grok AI
Grok AI’s goal, according to xAI, is to help people understand and learn. This artificial intelligence is used by the Grok-1 LLM, which was developed over four months. Its prototype, Grok-0, was trained with 33 billion parameters, ranking below Meta’s LLaMA 2, which uses 70 billion parameters.
Grok’s abilities
The Grok-1 features are impressive. It scores 63.2% on HumanEval coding task and 73% on MMLU. While it may not outperform the GPT-4, XAI claims that the Grok-1 is a significant improvement over the Grok-0 in a short amount of time.
In the GSM8k benchmark focused on intermediate math word problems, the Grok-1 scores 62.9%, beating the GPT-3.5 and LLaMa 2, but falling short of the Palm 2, Claude 2, and GPT-4.
The Grok-1 performs well on a variety of benchmarks, including MMLU, HumanEval, the Python code generation test, and MATHS, which covers middle and high school math exams.
In a hand-graded test, Grok-1 scored 59% in the Hungarian National High School Mathematics Final 2023, beating Claude 2’s 55% and GPT-4’s 68%.
These numbers show that Grok-1 is more powerful than OpenAI’s GPT-3.5, but not as advanced as the latest GPT-4. XAI claims that Grok-1 can compete with models that require larger data sets and more computing power, even though it uses less training data.
Grok training and data use
Grok-1 is trained using a custom stack based on Kubernetes, Rust and JAX. It has a real-time Internet connection that allows it to provide up-to-date information. However, this also means that it can produce incorrect or contradictory information. XAI actively seeks human feedback to improve Grok’s contextual understanding, multimodal capabilities, and resiliency.
Availability of Grok
Currently, the beta version of Grok is available to a limited number of users in the United States. In the near future, it will be available for X Premium+ subscribers and will cost $16 per month, which translates to Rs. 1300 when ordering online.
So if you want to pay, you can enjoy the knowledge and humor Grok brings to your questions as it evolves and learns.
