We’ve learned a lot over the years about how to give founders and innovators the space to build independent identities and cultures at Microsoft, including GitHub, Mojang Studios and LinkedIn, and I look forward to seeing you do the same.
Elon Musk, who had kept OpenAI alive during its rocky beginnings, reacted to the change with this typically curt quip: “Now they have to use Teams!”
