Elon Musk is ready to compete with OpenAI and Google with his own version of AI chatbot on X called Grok AI.AI

Elon Musk Announces Launch Date for Grok AI Chatbot: Premium Users Get First Access!

Elon Musk is preparing to enter the artificial intelligence arena with the Grok AI chatbot, which will be available for X users next week. Musk shared an update on Grok AI via this post on X this week and also talked about who can use the AI chatbot.

He confirmed that to use Grok AI, you need an X Premium+ subscription, which is the highest subscription X offers beyond the basic X Premium plan.

Musk has touted the Grok AI chatbot as a better alternative to ChatGPT and Google’s Bard AI because it can provide answers to “spicy questions” that Musk claims other popular chatbots refrain from answering. In fact, X’s team had recently commented on its sense of humor, which may be difficult for some users to digest and should avoid using Grok AI. Grok also uses the information provided by real-time access through the X platform.

Grok AI is said to be in its early stages and was promised to learn quickly, and it looks like Musk and Co. are now confident in the progress of Grok AI, which explains their decision to release an AI chatbot to their premium users. Musk also noted that Grok AI access will be unlocked in groups of users based on when they signed up for X Premium+.

X now offers three premium tiers that cater to different users and offer them unique benefits of paying on the platform. With the basic plan, you get the option to edit posts, have long posts, video downloads can be longer and a few more.

With the Premium X package, you’ll see fewer ads, get a verified ID, share ad revenue with X, access Media Studio (TweetDeck) and more. And finally, X Premium+ users get all these features, with no ads in their feeds and now access to the Grok AI chatbot.

It’s interesting to see Musk lead the launch of an AI chatbot, the same person who has warned about AI’s impact on the planet and how it could put people out of work with its advanced capabilities.
