AI-powered CCTV cameras installed by police to enhance security during the consecration of Ram Temple in Ayodhya
A senior police official announced on Saturday that AI-powered CCTV cameras have been installed to ensure security during the Ram Temple consecration ceremony in Ayodhya on January 22, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other guests are expected to be present.
Piyush Mordia, Additional Director General (ADG) (Lucknow Zone) told ANI that the police administration held a meeting with Shri Ram Janambhoomi Teerth Kshetra General Secretary Champat Rai on the occasion of the upcoming ‘Pran Pratishtha’ (consecration) ceremony on Saturday.
“Ayodhya police met officials of Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Trust regarding the upcoming ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony. The motive was to get the details of the order of events…” ADG Mordia said.
“Policemen have been deployed and AI-powered CCTVs have been installed in the entire area, the Ram Temple area and the tent cities…,” the top cop added.
The official added that pilgrims visiting the city for the grand ceremony would not face any inconvenience.
“Our manpower would be deployed in such a way that no one would face any kind of problem…” he added.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to attend the consecration ceremony at the Ram Temple on January 22. The event has garnered significant attention as several VVIP guests from India and abroad have received invitations to attend the promising event in Ayodhya.
The Vedic rituals for the Pran-Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla (child Lord Ram) in Ayodhya will begin on January 16, a week before the main ceremony.
Varanasi-based priest Lakshmi Kant Dixit will perform the main rituals of Ram Lalla’s consecration ceremony on January 22. From January 14 to January 22, Ayodhya celebrates Amrit Mahotsav.
1008 Hundi Mahayagya is also organized where thousands of devotees are fed. Several tent cities are being built in Ayodhya to accommodate thousands of devotees who are expected to arrive in the Uttar Pradesh temple town for the grand inauguration.
According to Sri Ram Janambhoomi Trust, arrangements will be made for 10,000-15,000 people.
Local authorities are preparing for the expected number of visitors around the grand ceremony and are currently implementing enhanced security measures and making logistical arrangements to ensure a smooth and spiritually enriching experience for all participants.
