Guide on viewing Samsung’s CES 2024 press conference centered around ‘AI accessible to everyone’
After the conclusion of the holiday season, there remains one winter tradition that continues to captivate the technology enthusiasts – CES. Las Vegas is once again transformed into a hub for all things tech as CES returns. Samsung has scheduled its annual CES press conference for January 8 at 2PM PT / 5PM ET, a day prior to the official opening of exhibitions. ReturnByte will have a team of twelve members present at CES 2024 in Las Vegas, and you can join in from the comfort of your home by tuning into the livestream on Samsung’s Global Newsroom site.
Of course, Samsung is a big company with its hands in almost every cookie jar, so you might be wondering what the focus of the press conference will be. And you already know the answer. It’s AI. The fight is called “AI for All: Connectivity in the Age of AI,” which somehow manages to squeeze the term twice.

What are we waiting for
The event will be chaired by Jong-Hee Han, vice president, CEO and head of Samsung’s DX (Device eXperience) division. Samsung has remained rather tight-lipped about the details, relying instead on the general theme of “AI for all”. Perhaps we’ll learn more about the company’s upcoming chatbot Gauss, which can write emails, code and, well, you know the rest. However, it can also scale low-res images, which is pretty cool.
According to The Korea Times, Gauss is set to be released on upcoming Galaxy S24 devices, so CES 2024 would be a good time to make it official. The S24 series is expected to be released in mid-January, i.e. in about a week.
Of course, Samsung is primarily a hardware manufacturer, so it would be strange if it devoted the entire keynote to AI. At last year’s press conference, the company announced everything from a smart oven with an interior camera to MicroLED and 8K televisions. Anyway, we don’t have to wait long.
We report live from the CES 2024 event in Las Vegas from the 6th to the 12th. January. Stay up to date with all the latest news from the show here.
