Madhav Sheth Leaves Realme India, Could Join Honor To Introduce Smartphones In India
Madhav Sheth, the former CEO of Realme India, has officially left the company amidst rumors of joining Honor India. Sheth, who previously served as the VP for Business and Corporate Strategy (Global) at Realme, confirmed the news on Twitter.
Madhav Sheth shared the letter on Twitter and said, “Goodbye can be depressing but the world is too small till we meet again. Goodbye for now but our paths may cross again soon and it must be waited to build a better and bigger one.”
In the letter, Madhav Sheth announced his resignation from Realme and expressed his readiness for new adventures. Despite his resignation, he will continue as Realme’s strategic advisor, guiding development strategies, market insights and global product observations.

“After five years at Realme, it’s time for me to move on and start a new journey. Realme has been an integral part of my life, a brand that was much more than just an organization; it has been my home, my passion and my purpose,” Sheth said.
“I am grateful to our fans, teams, partners and each and every one of you who loved, supported, helped and believed in me over the past five years. None of this would have been possible without you,” Sheth said in the letter.

A recent report claimed that Realme India’s ex-CEO Madhav Sheth will join Honor and play a key role in the launch of Honor-branded smartphones in the country. According to a report by ET Telecom, Honor’s India partner PSAV Global Tech Private Limited is currently in talks with former Madhav Sheth to revive the brand in the country.
According to ET Telecom sources, Madhav Sheth is bringing in key personnel from Realme India to help set up sales operations for Honor smartphones. Sources also confirmed to ET Telecom that Honor is not planning to set up its own team in India and will continue with the arrangement with PSAV Global, which has a comprehensive network of over 5,000 dealers and over 100 distributors covering both rural and urban areas across India.
