The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is providing the ISRO Internship Program, which is a valuable chance for those who are interested in space science and research to acquire practical knowledge and experience in the field. Eligibility criteria:
To be eligible for the ISRO internship program, applicants must be citizens of India. Project work can be done alone or in groups of a maximum of four students. Group applicants must be from the same field, semester and university. The program is open to students pursuing BE / B Tech, B Sc (Physics / Chemistry) and Diploma (Electronics / Mechanical / Computer Science).
Eligibility conditions vary depending on educational background:
BE/B Engineering students must have completed 6th semester and not more than 5th semester.
B Sc students majoring in physics or chemistry must have completed the 4th semester with a restriction up to the 4th semester.
Degree students specializing in electronics, mechanics or computer science must be in their final year, for the second year at the most.
Application for project work:
When applying for project work, those interested should include detailed personal information that includes information about their educational qualifications, previous internships/projects, skills, interests and possible work experience. The student must fill in the application form and it must be signed by the head of the department or the rector of the college/educational institution. It is important to submit the completed application form at least 45 days before the start of the work block period of the project.
It is important to note that the ISRO internship program does not offer any scholarship, stipend or financial support to the selected students. Project work can be carried out only in Unclassified areas of VSSC/ISRO. The number of students accepted into the program may vary due to space limitations, and the selection process is at the discretion of the VSSC.

However, due to the large number of applications, it is recommended that students also consider alternative organizations if their application is not successful.
