MrBeast reveals SHOCKING financial loss of over $1 million per video
Among the multitude of renowned YouTubers, a select few truly shine. Notable figures such as PewDiePie, Markiplier, and Dude Perfect have established themselves as premier content creators, amassing substantial wealth from their immensely popular videos. However, one individual stands head and shoulders above the rest: MrBeast, also known as Jimmy Donaldson. In terms of popularity, no one even comes close to this remarkable individual, as he holds the record for the highest number of subscribers on the platform, an astounding 160 million.
You might think that having such a huge following on YouTube and getting tens of millions of views on his videos might lead to large amounts of money flowing in. However, you would be wrong! A huge amount of money flows in, but even more flows out!
Now MrBeast himself has revealed that he loses a whopping million dollars per video!
Speaking on the Colin and Samir Show on Wednesday, MrBeast said: “My videos don’t make money. I still lose money even if I brand the video. I lose over a million dollars per video.”
Why is MrBeast losing money on YouTube videos?
Despite his miracles and regularly reaching almost 200 million views on his YouTube videos, he loses money on every video. Shockingly, MrBeast revealed that he spends a staggering $4 million on a single video, and the upcoming YouTube video has a budget of nearly $1.5 million.
MrBeast calculates saying, “In order for me to be paid a fair price for this video, for a lot of people who advertise on YouTube, literally half of what they spend annually on YouTube brand deals would have to go to me for one video. So I’m getting paid fairly.”
So even brand deals are having a hard time keeping up with MrBean!
Will he ever stop making videos?
Losing a million dollars per video might slow most of us down, but MrBeast isn’t going to do that. The Colin and Samir Show quoted him as saying, “I can get 100 million views on a video for less than ten thousand if I wanted to. It’s possible. But what’s the point?” he asked. “I’m just trying to make the best videos possible.”
Despite this, moving forward isn’t easy, Donaldson says, and the whole process leaves her constantly stressed about money.
