Lenskart and Amazon Partner to Offer AR-Enabled Eyewear Shopping with Virtual Try-On
Lenskart and Amazon have joined forces to enhance the online shopping experience for customers by introducing the Lenskart virtual try-on feature on Amazon. This feature allows customers to virtually visualize how eyewear will look on them before making a purchase.
Most customers prefer to buy glasses physically because it provides a better experience to try on the glasses and get the right fit. To solve this problem, Lenskart has partnered with Amazon Fashion to launch a virtual try-on technology.
Earlier, Google also released a virtual try-on feature that allows users to try on things virtually, but it was for clothes. It made it possible to experiment with different body types and positions. Now, with Lenskart and Amazon joining forces, it empowers users to make better purchasing decisions from the comfort of their homes.

As you normally browse products, you will also find Lenskart glasses and you can choose the product you want. You can then try it on and see how it looks on you, as it allows you to evaluate the fit, style and color by rotating and zooming. It also allows you to take a screenshot so you can send options to your friends and family.
Amazon now offers virtual trials of select Lenskart products on its website or mobile app. The gradual expansion of the feature offers its customers a wide range of options in several different categories.
