Twitter Enables Creators to Receive a Share of Ad Revenue; See How Much You Can Make

Twitter has announced that creators can now receive a share of the advertising revenue generated by their content, expanding its monetization offering for creators.

Twitter shares revenue with content creators from ads that appear in their replies. However, only verified users who have at least 5 million views on their posts in each of the last three months and have a Stripe payment account can claim earnings. This means that creators will have to purchase Twitter Blue to get verified, as this is the only way to get verified now that Elon Musk has decided to remove the old verified checkmarks.

“This is part of our effort to help people make a living directly on Twitter,” Twitter claims.

Now that the announcement has been made, content creators who meet the conditions and receive confirmation from Twitter will share their earnings on Twitter.

“I couldn’t believe it when I saw this announcement today. After all these years, the hard work might finally pay off! I just want to say thank you, user who goes by the username theapplehub,” tweeted.

“And suddenly it’s there. Elon is buying me a new macbook,” another user tweeted.

“I’m genuinely impressed with how much money is being paid through Twitter’s revenue sharing program. This is VERY important to freelancers like me. I was expecting $300. Ended up with $3,699, which blew my mind. Witter really IS a platform for creators. Great job @elonmusk,” user nicksorter said.

Elon Musk seems to be making good on his promise in February of this year – when he announced that Twitter will start sharing advertising revenue with Twitter Blue subscribers.
