Sony PS5 Price Cut of Rs 7,500 Announced Starting July 25: Get All Details Here
The PlayStation 5 console made its debut in India around two and a half years ago, and although it faced initial challenges in terms of availability, Sony has now taken a more proactive approach in the country. Sony has announced that the disc version of the PS5 console will receive a significant discount of Rs 7,500 from July 25 to August 7. This marks the largest discount Sony has offered on the PS5 console since its introduction in India.
Sony recently offered a flat discount of Rs. 5,000 on disc and digital versions of PlayStation 5 per month, bringing the price down to Rs. 49,990 and Rs. 39,990. However, the offer is now only for the disc version, so the actual price of the model is Rs. 47,490. This does not include any card offers and is a fixed discount offered to anyone interested in purchasing the console between July 25th and August 7th.
Where can you take advantage of the discount?
Sony has confirmed to us that this Rs 7,500 off offer is valid across multiple retailers including Amazon, Flipkart, Shopatsc, Reliance, Croma, Vijay Sales and select retailers.
Sony has also announced a new limited-time bundle for the PlayStation 5, which includes a special edition PS5 console with Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 themed side plates, a matching DualSense controller, and a digital copy of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. Pre-orders for this bundle are expected to start soon. Follow the official communication channels of PlayStation India.
Notably, Sony is already offering various bundles in India – including the God of War Ragnarök bundle, the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 bundle, and the Horizon Forbidden West bundle. All of these bundles include a digital copy of the game, but no physical discs.
