Jack Dorsey Advises To Remain Calm and Tackle Challenges Head On

The renaming and rebranding of Twitter to ‘X’ has been officially announced by billionaire Elon Musk and Twitter CEO Linda Yaccarino. Musk, who owns Twitter, has also confirmed that the new X logo will be launched today. In response to this news, Jack Dorsey, the former CEO of Twitter, tweeted: “Stay calm and simply x through it.”

Jack Dorsey’s comment on Twitter’s new logo shows his support for the proposal of Twitter’s current owner, Elon Musk, who is also a good friend of Dorsey’s. Elon Musk has already named Twitter’s parent company X Corporation. He also announced that the domain X dot com now redirects users to Twitter dot com.

Linda Yaccarino, CEO of Twitter, said X is the future space for limitless interactivity – focusing on voice, video, messaging, payments/banking – creating a global marketplace for ideas, goods, services and opportunities.

“AI-powered X connects us all in ways we’ve only begun to imagine. For years, fans and critics alike have pushed Twitter to dream bigger, innovate faster, and realize our great potential. X does that and more. We’ve already started to see X take shape over the past 8 months with our rapid feature releases, but we’re just getting started,” added Yaccarino.

Yaccarino also emphasized that there is no limit to this change. X is a platform that can deliver it all. “@elonmusk and I look forward to working with our team and each of our partners to bring X to the world,” he added.

On Sunday, Musk also started a poll asking users if he should change the platform’s default color to black. Currently, the black color leads the voting with 74.8 percent of the votes, while the white color received only 25.2 percent of the votes. When tech influencer Marques Brownlee tweeted, “I’m still calling it Twitter,” Musk replied, “Not long.”

In response to a user’s query about what the Twitter owner’s new title is instead of “Chief Twit,” Musk replied, “Chief Nothing Officer.” When another user asked if users are now called “Xers,” the tech billionaire said, “We don’t have a name.”
