XPro Access Requiring X Blue Subscription for Viewing

TweetDeck, now called XPro, has finally gone behind a paywall, meaning that people using the platform will have to subscribe to the X Blue service in order to use XPro again.

The new XPro name will appear when you log out of the account, but like Twitter, the website URL will remain unchanged. TweetDeck or XPro is a reliable tool that allows people to manage and monitor multiple profiles on the same screen.

The X Blue subscription has been around since before Twitter’s X branding began earlier this year. Most people haven’t been convinced to spend money on X, but now that XPro is part of the package, those views are changing, which is good news for Musk and his X Corp as they look to grow the platform’s revenue. Since the XPro is now part of the X Blue service, Indians can pay Rs 650 online and Rs 900 mobile per month to use the feature.

With his Twitter X revolution, Elon Musk clearly intends to move beyond social media with the help of the platform. Musk has previously expressed interest in building an all-in-one app called X, and it looks like the new version of Twitter is headed in that direction.

The whole reason behind changing Twitter’s name to X also seems like a plan to move away from the platform’s legacy and give it a new identity that will help develop the services that X could offer through the platform. The XPro is the latest addition to X’s paid arsenal, and from the looks of it, people may finally have to pay for the platform, which always justifies Musk’s decision to cut XPro’s free offering to users.

While branding is moving quickly, Musk is also busy dealing with Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg in hopes of finally getting a cage fight between the two tech giants. Most people believe that the fight is another ploy by Musk to stay in the news, and he certainly isn’t going to fight Zuckerberg.
