Access Multiple Identification Documents on Your Samsung Galaxy Smartphone

Samsung has revealed that users of Galaxy smartphones can now conveniently access their important digital IDs, including Aadhaar card, PAN card, driving license, and vehicle registration certificate, through Samsung Wallet. This wallet provides a range of features to users, such as travel and mobility options, Samsung Pay, Samsung Pass, and various others.

“With Samsung Wallet, we provide consumers with a completely secure environment to use cards, IDs and documents and bring everyday convenience to mobile devices to a new level,” said Reshma Virmani, Head, Services and Engagement, Samsung India.

  • Samsung Wallet combines the existing features of Samsung Pay and Samsung Pass, giving consumers a seamless Tap & Pay, UPI payment and bill payment experience.
  • Users can access their most important authority IDs and 2,000 other documents and IDs. However, note that it does not store any of this information and the information is displayed on the device in the Samsung Wallet app.
  • Users can download and verify their FASTag account and save their flight details for quick access if they can also book and save their train ticket details.
  • Users can add train tickets or boarding passes by scanning a QR or barcode or importing an image or PDF file into Samsung Wallet.
  • Samsung Pay is now integrated with Samsung Wallet, allowing users to make direct UPI payments and bank transfers securely.
  • Samsung Wallet stands were connected to Samsung Pass, which helps streamline access to apps and services with stored passwords, ensuring users can log in with secure biometric authentication.
  • Samsung’s wallet is protected by a security platform called Samsung Knox. Users’ sensitive information is well protected with features like fingerprint recognition and encryption that give device owners exclusive access.

To enjoy the benefits of Samsung Wallet, Galaxy users must update their Samsung Pay app through the Galaxy Store. The update is available in automatic mode and manual mode.
