Adobe Premiere Pro’s latest AI capabilities enable effortless removal of unwanted sounds within seconds.
If you’ve used Adobe Premiere Pro, you know that the company has added a bunch of features to the non-linear editing (NLE) application to make the editing process faster and more efficient.
Adobe and the rest of the industry have made advances in artificial intelligence, and now the popular app is getting support for interactive fade-in coffees. This means users can click and drag to create audio fades. The app also gets an AI-based audio category identifier, which makes it easier to sort audio files into dialogue, music, sound effects, and ambient noise.
This gives editors one-click access to different tools for each voice. There are also effects markers that act as a visual indicator to see which clips have effects.
In addition, Adobe has also announced that its current beta feature, which allows users to use the AI-powered Enhance Speed tool to remove unwanted audio and poor recording, will be available to all Premiere Pro users in February.
“Sound creates meaning and adds impact to film and video—it has the power to help tell a story and move us in ways visuals alone can’t,” said Ashley Still, director and general manager of Adobe Creative Cloud.
He added, “We’re proud to offer filmmakers new workflows that make audio editing more intuitive, so whether they’re new to audio or a seasoned pro, Premiere Pro makes finding the perfect tool faster and easier.”
Adobe has been quite proactive in making sure it matches its competitors like OpenAI and Google, or at least has the same creative AI prowess. This ensures that users have access to competitive AI-based tools that make their work easier and faster.
