Adorable Samsung Galaxy Buds with Pokémon Design Released
Despite being a Japanese franchise, Samsung, a conglomerate based in South Korea, has demonstrated its affinity for Pokémon through its latest product offerings. The company has unveiled its new Pokémon Packs, which include three Galaxy Buds 2 cases modeled after Jigglypuff, Ditto, and Snorlax. In addition to the charming cases, the packs come with matching stickers and a choice between the Galaxy Buds 2 for KRW 129,000 ($99) or the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro for KRW 199,000 ($152).
Samsung started this series with a classic option, launching Poké Ball cases for the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro and its standard edition headphones in May 2022. The limited run sold out in an hour, so it’s no surprise that the company wanted to release a few Pokémon-themed options. The Pokémon version of Samsung’s foldable Galaxy Z Flip 3 smartphone received a similar response, with the KRW 1,280,000 ($979) device selling out within minutes.
The Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 smartphone have also previously received the Pokémon treatment thanks to a Poké Ball covered watch band and phone case. As for Jigglypuff, Ditto, and Snorlax, these adorable cases are only available in Samsung’s home country of South Korea and, like the Poké Ball version, will likely soon be on eBay.
